We are currently looking for a digital designer for our client who wants to be part of an engaged team where your skills and ideas make a real difference.

In the role of digital designer, you will work on developing and maintaining advanced digital circuit boards. This can involve everything from high-frequency electronics to computer platforms, data links, and other system solutions.

Examples of tasks

• Conduct concept studies and evaluate future technical solutions and architectures
• Participate in requirements management and specification of designs and systems
• Perform detailed design, including simulation, component selection, and schematic design
• Create and review production documentation
• Test and verify performance in a lab environment
• Troubleshoot and assist in product integration
• Work towards set timelines and contribute to cost and quality optimization

Your profile

You enjoy working closely with colleagues in cross-functional teams and follow your designs all the way – from idea to finished product. You have experience in detailed design within digital electronics, for example with SoC/FPGA and DDR memory, or within mixed signal with ADC/DAC.

We welcome both those with several years of experience and those who are at the beginning of their careers!

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or embedded systems
• Experience with PCB design tools (e.g. Cadence, Siemens)
• Knowledge of simulation tools for digital electronics (e.g. HyperLynx)
• Familiarity with modern measurement instruments for testing and integration
• Understanding of processes and quality work
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Swedish citizenship

Preferred experiences

• Previous work with AMD/Xilinx chips and related development tools
• Programming for control and data processing (e.g. Matlab)
• Experience with optical transceivers and links
• Knowledge in other electronics areas such as RF, analog, or power electronics
